This past Saturday marked a significant milestone for our community at the All About The Bay (AATB) annual event. We’re excited to share the highlights and experiences with all our valued members, including those who could not join us.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to Hormoz Mogharei, President of Brooks College, for gracing our entrepreneur networking event as the guest speaker. His insightful talk on ‘Unlocking Success: A Holiday Celebration with All About The Bay‘ was both enlightening and inspiring. Hormoz’s expertise added a unique depth to our gathering.
We also express our deep gratitude to Faz at US Together Center in Fremont for hosting our business mixer. The ambiance of their space added warmth to our event, fostering an environment ripe for networking and collaboration.
This holiday annual event was not just about insights and networking; it also featured fun-filled moments like delicious food, icebreaker games, and a raffle draw.
This year’s All About The Bay (AATB) annual holiday event transcended the usual expectations of insights and networking, transforming into a celebration filled with delightful experiences. The occasion was marked by an array of sumptuous food, engaging icebreaker games, and an exciting raffle draw, creating a vibrant atmosphere of camaraderie and festivity.
The board members played a pivotal role in elevating the culinary experience. With meticulous attention to detail, they prepared a gourmet feast catering to diverse palates, including scrumptious options for vegans. Lee, one of the attendees, was particularly impressed, exclaiming, “Karen made the BEST Chinese desserts I have ever tasted.” This sentiment was echoed by others who relished the array of flavors presented.
Heidi, a restaurant owner and board member, showcased her culinary prowess, especially in vegan cuisine. Her dishes were a hit, with most of them being devoured by the end of the event. This success reflected her skill in creating appealing vegan options that resonated with the guests’ tastes.
Karen, who has recently enjoy cooking, reflecting on her culinary choices, shared a valuable insight: “I have learned my lesson from not bringing food with cheese because cheese gets hard and cold and not tasty.” This learning experience highlighted the importance of considering how dishes maintain their quality and appeal over the duration of the event.
The evening was filled with delightful moments, including delicious food, icebreaker games that helped us connect on a deeper level, and exciting raffle drawings that left some of our members walking away with fantastic prizes.
We made sure to honor the raffle tickets of members who couldn’t attend, ensuring everyone felt included. A big thank you to Andrya for hosting the event and to the AATB team for their dedication and support.
The event wasn’t just a gastronomic delight but also a social triumph. Rasheed, an attendee, shared his enthusiasm: “It was a great event!” Nicole, attending for the second time, affirmed the event’s allure, saying, “This is my 2nd time attending All About The Bay, and it’s worth coming every time.” Their comments captured the essence of the event’s success – a blend of great food, engaging activities, and excellent networking opportunities.
